Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By creating an account, downloading our mobile applications, or accessing our web application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using MeAside immediately.

2. Eligibility & Minimum Age

You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use MeAside. If you are under the age of majority, you represent that you have received consent from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Community Standards & Fair Play

MeAside is dedicated to healthy, respectful grassroots football. You agree NOT to:

• Engage in harassment, hate speech, bullying, or intimidation against players, captains, or tournament organizers.
• Falsify match scores, manipulate tournament brackets, or engage in match-fixing.
• Impersonate any other individual, sports club, or entity.
• Use automated bots or scripts to scrape data or spam invite links.

Violations of fair play may result in immediate suspension or permanent banning of player and team accounts.

4. Tournament Organizer Responsibilities

Organizers who create tournaments on MeAside are responsible for fair scheduling, accurate match validation, and resolving rules disputes. MeAside provides the software tools to coordinate tournaments but is not a party to disputes regarding pitch conditions, physical injuries, or referee decisions at physical venues.

5. Non-Custodial Wallet & Treasury Terms

Users who choose to use digital wallet or team treasury features agree that:

• Self-Custodial Architecture: Wallets are non-custodial. MeAside does not hold, custody, or manage your digital assets. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
• Blockchain Immutability: Transactions made on the distributed ledger are final and irreversible. MeAside cannot reverse transactions or cancel transfers once broadcast to the network.
• No Banking Relationship: MeAside is not a bank, trust company, or broker-dealer. No interest or yields are paid on digital currency.
• Compliance & KYC: Certain volume thresholds require identity verification. Attempting to bypass limits with fraudulent documentation will result in account termination.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

MeAside is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. Playing physical sports involves inherent risks of injury; MeAside is not liable for any physical accidents, property loss, or injuries occurring during matches.

7. Modifications & Governing Law

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of MeAside after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Uganda without regard to conflict of law principles.
